Year One Gallery

Take a look at the fantastic work we have been doing in Year One.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Warwick Castle during our first half term in Year One. It brought our Topic, 'Castles in the Sky' to life!

We celebrated National Poetry Day by working collaboratively to write Poems with a Recycling theme.

We enjoyed exploring the book, 'Mr Wolf's Pancakes' by Jan Fearnley when we celebrated World Book Day!

We have worked collaboratively to prepare pieces of art work to show the Stations of the Cross in preparation for our special Holy Week Services.

We know that we are approaching the final stages of our Lenten journey.

We have learnt about materials and their properties during our Science lessons and we have enjoyed working practically to complete investigations!

We have added items to our Class Altar during the Season of Lent to represent the steps of our Lenten journey and the Gospel stories that we have reflected upon each week.
