Our Parish Prayer

Father, pour out your Spirit upon the people of this parish and upon those who pray here and grant us a new vision of your glory, a new experience of your power, a new faithfulness to your word, and a new consecration to your service, that your love may grow among us and your kingdom come, through Christ our Lord, Amen.

Saint Anne, pray for us.

Saint Anne's Catholic Primary School is situated in the Parish of Saint Anne's Catholic Church. The church can be found on Bradford Street, Digbeth, on the edge of the city centre. The church is part of the Archdiocese of Birmingham

The church was originally founded by Cardinal Newman; however, the present building was designed in 1884. Today, the parish continues to be a place of welcome and prayer to its parishioners and visitors alike.

Father Robert Murphy is our Parish Priest.

As a Catholic primary school, we strive to work in partnership with the Home and the Church to initiate the children of the parish into the Catholic faith tradition whilst, at the same time, maintaining the highest aims and expectations within the national education system.

As a part of the Catholic Education System, the school is concerned with the initiation of children into the Catholic faith tradition and their gradual growth and development as knowledgeable and faithful members of the Catholic Church.

The school has a responsibility to nurture and promote the Catholic faith through its programme of Religious Education and the day-to-day organisation and relationships so that the spiritual presence of Jesus Christ is clearly evident to all and His teachings are reflected in every aspect of the total life of the school.

To Saint anne

Good St. Anne, you were especially favoured by God to be the mother of the most holy Virgin Mary, the Mother of our Savior. By your power with your most pure daughter and with her divine Son, kindly obtain for us the grace and the favour we now seek. Please secure for us also forgiveness of our past sins, the strength to perform faithfully our daily duties and the help we need to persevere in the love of Jesus and Mary. Amen.
