Year 1
Welcome to Year One!
Our Year One Team consists of:
Mrs B. Leslie Rollings Mrs Ryan
We are looking forward to working with your child during this year and supporting them on the next stage of their learning journey at St Anne’s. Your child will be building upon all of the learning and experiences that they enjoyed during their time in Reception Class and they will continue to become increasingly independent learners during their time in Year One.
On this page, you will find a range of information regarding your child’s learning, including pictures of activities they have completed.
If you have any questions or concerns, we are available to speak after school or alternatively you can arrange a more convenient time for an appointment via the office.

Year One Class Assembly
Year One took part in their Class Assembly on Friday 21st April 2023.
Our Assembly focussed upon our beautiful world and the ways that we can care for it, in preparation for 'Earth Day', which is celebrated on April 22nd every year.
We were inspired by the story of Creation, taken from Genesis, and the letter, Laudato Si', written by Pope Francis.
