Children of the World

This year our Reception and KS1 children worked together to share the story of the first Christmas through a play called ‘Children of the World’.
In this play, Gabriel and the angels celebrated the birth of Jesus by bringing children from all around the world to visit the manger. The angels travelled from as far as China, Malawi, Poland and Australia, each group was brought to the stable where they told their special Christmas customs, sang songs and presented gifts.
All the children worked so hard to remember all the songs and the words for their role in the play. All of our parents and the whole school were so proud and amazed with their performance.
